StrixBox (“we”, “us”) operates strixbox.com and the StrixBox for Google Maps Reviews WordPress plugin. This policy explains what data we process when you use our website, plugin, or API.

1. Data we process

• Plugin / API use: When a site administrator connects a Google Business place or refreshes reviews, we receive the search query or Place ID, selected language, and technical request metadata needed to return place and review data.
• Feedback forms: Name, email, message, site URL, and optional source label when an administrator contacts us through the plugin.
• Licensing (Pro): License key and site URL for activation and status checks.
• Website analytics: Standard server logs and analytics tools may collect IP address, browser type, and pages visited on strixbox.com.

2. Why we process data

We use this information to provide the review-display service, prevent abuse, support customers, validate licenses, and improve our products.

3. Google / third-party data

Place and review content originates from Google. Reviewer photos and place images may be loaded from Google-hosted URLs. Google’s own policies also apply: Google Privacy Policy.

4. Retention & security

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may use infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payment processors) solely to operate the service.
